9 Non-Alcoholic Drinks On Our Radar This Month

Whether you're more mindfully imbibing or looking to stock up on NA options for sober-curious friends and guests (look at you!), plenty of pretty apéritifs, mocktail-ready mixers, and extra dry dealcoholized wines are catching our eye this year.

While the NA beverage scene has been growing steadily in recent years, only accelerated by consumers rethinking their drinking habits during the pandemic, Danny Frounfelkner, founder of Sipple, Texas' first non-alcoholic bottle shop in Houston, doesn't see sober curiosity as a fad. More like an "everlasting wave," he says. "This is not a trend. It's here to stay, and it's just going to get bigger, bolder, and louder."

De Soi Canned Apéritifs

DeSoi

Pre-spritzed and sip-ready, Katy Perry's debuts into the world of NA drinks with this happy line of all-natural, adaptogenic apéritifs ($25 for 4) inspired by the French ethos of pleasure and restraint.

Spiritless Non-Alcoholic Bourbon

spiritlesskentucky74

Distinctively oaky, go half-sies with your Boulevardier or mix up a sour that's completely dry with this meticulously-distilled bourbon alternative ($36).

Aplós Hemp-Infused Spirit

Aplos_Launch

Formulated in collaboration with James Beard honoree Lynnette Marrero, Aplós Batch Seven ($48) stacks herbaceous rosemary and basil with crisp, citrusy finish thanks to basil and cucumber extracts. Enhanced with sustainable broad-spectrum hemp (20mg per serving), snag this when you're seeking an evening wind-down ritual that won't amplify your nerves during tomorrow's 8AM meeting.

Grüvi Dry Secco

FCM x Gruvi

Step aside, sparkling Martinelli's (though we'll always love you). This is the driest de-alcoholized sparkling wine I've tasted, conveniently bottled so you're not left facing a half-finished, flat bottle in your fridge the next morning. Especially fitting for non-drinkers, party of one! (From $36).

Thomson & Scott Noughty Sparkling Rosé

NoughtyRose

Rosé lovers, we've got a case with your name on it. Sourced from vineyards in southern Spain, Noughty's line of fizzy wines ($11) are as crisp and light as they are pretty topping your chicest flutes. Celebrate the big stuff in style (and pop bubbly with the rest of 'em) and still wake up hangover-free. Plus: Thomson & Scott is women-founded and B Corp certified. Doesn't get more glamorous than that.

Figlia Non-Alcoholic Aperitivo

Figlia_Shot2_Bottle_and_Glass_3970_V1d_Crop_800x1040

A versatile addition to your bar cart, Figlia ($43) endeavors to get sober options off of the back of the menu and into a more disco-ball-lit spotlight. Whether taken on the rocks, mixed into a zero-proof cocktail, or married with your liquor of choice, the pressure's off and the sipping's slow.

Acid League Wine Proxies

Proxies_Tasting-Set

Known for their complex living vinegars and cool-kid pantry staples, the gastronomic obsessives of Acid League have delved into the dry-not-drab market with Proxies ($86). Not a dealcoholized wine, these approximates the body and acidity of a glass of vino through flavors lifted from global teas, spices, and bitters engineered to compliment a meal.

Bonbuz Alchemy Spirit

Bonbuz

Bonbuz's idea of drinking culture is more nootropics, amino acids, and adaptogens than sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. Made in L.A., this "functional, high-vibe, alcohol-free social spirit" is bound to be popping up on your feeds this year.

StAgrestis_PhonyNegroni_200ml

Juniper and citrus dominate this non-alcoholic take on the iconic Negroni (thanks for the renaissance, Stanley Tucci?), handcrafted at St. Agrestis' distillery in Brooklyn, NY. Because no one should sit out patio-sipping season. ($60 for 12)
